I'm Seema Chopra — an Integrative Strength & Conditioning Coach and the founder of Active Shakti™. I work with high-performing women in person in SE20, London, and online worldwide.

My Journey
For years I pushed my body to the edge — juggling Kathak dance training, backstage work in theatre, and a Master's degree in Dance Science. On the outside I looked strong. Underneath, I was navigating burnout, ADHD, and postnatal depression.
Everything changed when I stopped fighting my body and started listening to it. Aligning my training with my cycle changed my energy, my focus, and my relationship with my own strength. I found a way to train — and to live — that actually worked for the body I have, not the one I thought I should have.
That's what I now build for the women I work with.
My Approach
I work with high-performing and neurodivergent women who are already training — but know something is off. Not because they lack discipline. Because they are over-functioning on an overloaded nervous system.
My work blends strength training, cycle awareness, nervous system regulation, and somatic work. Sessions start where you actually are — not where you think you should be. We work with your body's intelligence, not against it.

What makes my coaching different?
I have lived this from the inside.
ADHD, burnout, postpartum, the moment the body stops cooperating with the life you've built. That is why women trust me. Not because of what I know. Because of what I have navigated.
With over 14 years of experience I bring strength and conditioning expertise, women's hormonal health knowledge, somatic awareness, rehabilitation, and the lived experience of a neurodivergent woman navigating motherhood and high performance simultaneously.
My work is coaching. But the women I work with often describe it as something deeper than that, it's healing.
