Journal of Dance Medicine and Science

Published research: “Blood Lactate and Heart Rate Responses Between Active and Passive Recovery Modes in Female Dancers After Kathak Dance” (2024).

 

This peer-reviewed study explored how recovery strategies influence performance and fatigue in female dancers — laying the foundation for Seema’s integrative approach to women’s strength and conditioning.

 

The findings inspired elements of The Synced Method™, where recovery, awareness, and performance are seen as interconnected pillars. This research continues to inform her work with high-performing women — bridging physiology, cycle awareness, and embodied movement.

Seema also serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Dance Medicine & Science - contributing to the evaluation of emerging research in dance medicine, movement science and female performance.
